Australian Careers Business College Class of 2015 Graduates Honoured at Graduation Ceremony

Over 750 graduands, staff members, community leaders, family members and friends gathered at The Cube, Campbelltown Catholic Club on 17 December 2015 for the Australian Careers Business College Class of 2015 Graduation Ceremony.

The ceremony opened with The Voice star Michael Duchesne singing the Australian National Anthem.

ACBC CEO, Ann Elisha, welcomed the graduands, provided highlights from the year and encouraged the graduands to take advantage of the opportunities before them.

“We have had a great year with exciting challenges, personal growth and learning, and fun.”

“Over the past year you have gone through some amazing growth and transformation. In the beginning, you knew very little about your chosen field of study. Now you have the skills and experience to launch careers or pursue higher education. Many of you have gained full-time or part-time employment, or have been accepted into university. Congratulations on reaching this important milestone today.”

She also acknowledged the people who assisted along the way.

“Many people helped make this happen, and I want to acknowledge them. Thank you to the parents, families and friends who have provided ongoing support. Thank you to our trainers, support staff and host employers.

“And finally, thank to you, our students, who have persisted and overcome the challenges you faced to reach this day.  Congratulations on achieving an important goal that will have an enduring and positive impact on you and those around you.

“You have a world of opportunity in front of you, so make the most of your potential and stay open to new possibilities that will arise throughout your careers.”
